I`ll be playing lead guitar with Bobby Whitlock and CoCo Carmel tomorrow evening

I've been invited to play guitar with Bobby Whitlock and CoCo Carmel tomorrow evening at The Last Concert Cafe in Houston, TX.

Bobby was a member of Derek & the Dominos along with Eric Clapton, Carl Radle and Jim Gordon. He sang and played keyboards/guitar as well as co-wrote many of the songs on their classic 1970 LP "Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs" such as "Bellbottom Blues" and "Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad?" His outstanding and impassioned vocals together with those of Clapton are a hallmark of that record.

Bobby has also played on such classic records as "All Things Must Pass" by George Harrison and the Rolling Stones' "Exile On Main Street."

CoCo is also an amazingly talented vocalist, guitarist, saxophonist and writer. Together they are magic!

We'll be doing a number of songs from the "Layla" record as well as their newer material. Needless to say I'm highly honored to be playing guitar with Bobby and CoCo. You don't want to miss this!

Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
