I am very pleased to announce that I have now teamed up with former WAR vocalist Tweed Smith on a contemporary blues project performing a dynamic range of original blues songs and select covers.

In addition to having recorded and toured with WAR from 1979-81, Tweed was part of the American National Touring Company production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" and has worked with artists such as Dianne Reeves, Sly Stone, Sarah Vaughn, Bobby Womack, Ringo Starr and Ron Wood.

Mike Stone on piano/Hammond B3 has worked with such blues greats as Jewel Brown, Milton Hopkins, I.J. Gosey, Sherman Robertson, Pete Mays, Trudy Lynn and Curley Cormier.

Quentin Calva on bass has worked around the U.S., Canada and U.K. with artists such as Joe James, Bobby Alexis, the Delta Flyers, Calvin Owens, Ronnie Renfro and Milton Hopkins. He has also shared the bill with artists such as James Hardin, Robin Trower, Matt “Guitar” Murphy, Foghat and Frank Marino.

Geronimo Calderon on drums is a mainstay in the Houston music scene. He has toured the U.S. with Agent and China White and worked with artists such as Mark May, Tommy Dardar, The Mighty Orq and The Calderon Brothers.

Tweed is an exciting and dynamic performer with world-class star quality. I'm extremely honored and thrilled to be working with her.

Stay tuned!
